This past weekend I traveled to Yosemite National Park with one of my friends. Had a great time as this is the first true National Forest I've visited.
We started our drive in the evening as we both had to work during normal working hours.

We found the first camp site that would could find. Luckily, the campsite we went to had plenty of spaces for us to park and claim a space. Reserving a spot involveds finding the main bulletin board at the campsite, fill the information on the envelope along with the cost of camping there with cash or check.
One of my favorite things when it's dark out is to listen to the nocturnal sounds. You hear so many creatures in the background including my friend snoring inside of the tent.
