Saying Goodbye

This post was written in en

So this week the last foreign exchange student left Hastings to go back to his home country. It was sad seeing him leave.

It is fun meeting new people. Not everyday does a person get to meet a lot of foreign people especially here in Small Town, Nebraska. This especially students around our own age. Hastings High had a total of 6 foreign exchange students from many differentĀ nationalities most of which came from Europe and one from South America. Coming here was a new complete experience for all of them.

It was fun meeting all the foreign exchange students this year. You guys really helped me become a more open minded person to become more indulged with diversity. I learned a lot about myself. Thanks for all the great experiences. This will be one of the fondest memories of high school that I will be able to look back on.

It was fun meeting all the foreign exchange students this year. I want to to apologize to the ones that I did not say goodbye :( .I wish I could of been there.

Ā To all of you guys of this year and years past. THANK YOU. I will see you guys in the future. Best of luck!

Summer College Class

This post was written in en

So last week was the end of my speech class. The first few days sucked because I had surgery on my nose. Everything went well. That's a different story thought :)

This was the first time I ever bought a college book. That sad part was that we barely used it in the three weeks of the speech class. What a waste of money! Anyhow, it was a fun class but weird at the same time. Weird reasosn to be undisclosed.... I got to beĀ around people I knew. This gave me reassurance, well whatever I got out of it. I hated doing speeches. I'm actually okay at them but give me panic attacks (often you can't tell.) In order to survive one had to

Fake it 'til you make it!

The class got more comfortable as time went on. Taking this speech class has taught me a lot about myself. Ā I found some weaknesses that I have improved on.

  • Being more confident
  • More ability to speak to large audience.
  • Less worrying of what others things
  • etc.

Tip of the day. Take a college speech class in the summer. Not only is it shorter but also you have less people to present towards than a whole lecture hall full of students during the school year. It is less stressful.

To end...

"That's cute!"

So i had surgery...

The Pain.. :(Ā  :'(

So today i had surgery. On my nose to be exact. What a way to start summer.Ā  I guess I have had a long term problem that after 18 some years finally got fixed. This was not a nose job, but intro-nasal procedure

Like any surgery it hurts like not other. With all the pains med, I feel loopy. I don't even know if anything im writing hear is making any sense.... Sorry in advance. :PĀ Ā  The things that are going in my head right now.... You don't want to know.

What makes me really worried is that I have a college class on Monday and I'm going to show up to class like this. I don't know if i will be more scared with a gauze stuck to my face. This or even the fact that people will stare. Maybe I am worried about both.

WHO CARES!!!

I'll be like "what are you looking at?" I'll let you well you know what happens on Monday.

Wish me luck! I hope for a speedful recovery.

Ready for the Summer

"Summer is officially started (for me at least.) I'm glad to be graduated from high school. Life is good. :)

Yesterday I went to sign up for classes at UNKĀ . It was fun meeting new people at New Student Enrollment. All these people were nice. Well most of them. Some stood out more than others. The most exciting part was getting my school ID.

I don't know if I like it or not..... :P Its not like I liked my high school IDs either.

I am ready for college. Can't wait to room with my roommate. I just want to enjoy summer and make it unforgettable."
