The making of an igloo!

This post was written in en

"Yesterday was quite the cold adventure! It involved snow but I mean A LOT of it! I love winter. Having snow days in colllege is the best thing that could happen to sleep-deprived students. I managed to get some extra shut eye. Seriously though, these snowdays make me feel like a little kid again. You do not know the excitement when I found out UNK canceled clasess to have not one but two snowdays in a row? Man I LOVE COLLEGE! Its music to my ears.

Instead of being a lazy bum and staying in bed all day, I decided to spend my day outside in the good ol' Nebraska cold winter. My friends and I spend the day outside in the beautiful Nebraska weather, winter. The goal for the day was to make an igloo. We started right after lunch. My best friend, Sammy and I spent the day carving out a snow pile to make an igloo. Of course we could not go without throwing the occasional snowball at each other and others that walked by! We bad! ?We used our inner architecture and construction skills as well as our inner child to good use to make the perfect one! It was fun to work on it together!

Here is the end result with me in it.

Question of the day!??

Did you spend your day outside? Shoot me a commnet or an email of your pictures or links at

""Oh its hard to live in the city"" - Albert Hammond Jr.

ItsĀ  been an interesting start to the new year.

This week I am on a trip to Denver with my three best friends Sammy and Sam. These are some of the coolest dudes you guys will ever meet. It has been an interesting trip so far.

We left Nebraska on in the morning on Tuesday. When we got there we got some grub at a great place. Then we hit up downtown.Ā  We did a bit of shopping and just walked around. It was fun just being in that urban enviorment. All the buildings are beautiful. Downtown Denver has really cleaned up their act. I like seeing the street performers (the few in the winter).

Then we hit up Redrocks Amphitheater and Park where we did some climbing upĀ  the stairs and enjoyed the beautiful sights and sceneries of the area.Ā  It was so relaxing. Any part of outside Denver is nice! I like nature. Twas fun. I do not think that I could live in the city

We had dinner at Five Guys, the burgers were so delicious. Where has it been my whole life. There were many places where we hit up for yummy food!

The nightlife in Denver is pretty swell!! The city surprises me so much!!!

Found some good books at the Thrift Shop!! Who knew thrifts shops were so badass.

We went everywhere in Denver. The malls here are amazing and huge.Ā  So many sights we wanted to see but time was the enemy. The next trip will be even better.

Time to hit the road! This was a trip that I really enjoyed especially with your buddies. Now it is time to go home and get back to reality. School starts soon and I got to get back to the whole routine. See you soon Nebraska!!

Well woke up a bit late than I usually do when I work in the morning. I got to work. Just another day. I have to worry about a lot of things at work since I am manager. It was a good day for the most part. I was by myself up front for a good two hours. It was busy. Well I got off and went to workout. It felt good just to get energy out. Hanged out with friends. Parents always wanting me to be at the house but I feel like I do my fair share of time at the house.

Mom made me breakfast. I had to work for a good part of the day. It was a decent day. A job is a job. Work keeps to me busy from worrying about things in my life. I went for another run today. It is very relaxing. Beenā€ÆSnap chattingā€ÆThomas, looks like he's having a great time in his town...not really. I just realized how boring my spring break is going. Maybe next year I'll go to the beach to California or something. I really want to have a true college spring break. It was a decent day today. I did not think of anything bad. I should do my homework that I have been procrastinating.
